Mont Blanc Pens Discount
Montblanc Meisterstuck Classique Ballpoint Pen Not sure if I'm in the right on this, but I've seen that Mont Blanc announced "the most precious writing instument within the world": the Mont Blanc Emerald. It's supposed to be 1.5 million (USD), topping the Diamante for the most expensive pen on the planet, but there is only one in the world to date. Can anyone second me about this?
Personally i think at this point I need to talk about pen snobbery (it had been bound to come up inside a post about Montblanc fountain pens!). I'm happy to admit that i'm a pen snob. However, my snobbery is different through the years. When I started getting seriously interested in my love of fountain pens I had been probably about 14, and my snobbish attitude simply meant that a plastic fountain pen would no longer meet my needs. I wanted proper shiny metal fountain pens. I was given a basic Waterman and a Parker and life was good. Then in the age of 16 I started working in a well-known book/stationery store in the books department. Our book counter also happened to house the glass cabinet in which the expensive fountain pens were kept (the ones where you need to ask the sales assistant to unlock the cabinet to see anything!). Now a basic fountain pen would not cut it. I wanted the special fountain pens from the glass cabinet. These pens had gold and silver inside them, ergo these were better.

Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Grand Ballpoint Pen I got a moderately expensive pen for my 18th birthday and used to be again happy with my pens. However, Then i went to university and honed my geek skills. I was becoming more and more concerned with all of the waste made by disposable pens and disposable ink cartridges, and I started reading about inks on the web. The internet had people writing about fountain pens, and these people wrote about such things as bleeding and show-through, not just how much gold the pen been on it! These were the real pen lovers, and they talked about how great Lamys were. I were built with a Lamy during my pen pot, so I tested it against my shiny fountain pens. By golly, these people were right! The Lamy gave a much better writing experience than my posh pens. Interesting! My pen snobbery changed again. Now I wanted the best writing implement, not the costliest or shiniest.
Montblanc Meisterstuck Classique Ballpoint Pen this leads us back to the Montblanc. This pen is really a status symbol. It is certainly not priced the actual way it is due to its exceptional engineering. Whilst it is nicely made, there are better writing implements. Sorry, Montblanc fans, but that is the way it is. My Montblanc does not permit a converter, and so i have to use disposable cartridges, which I hate (the whole point of using a fountain pen is that it's better for that environment). The ink flow sometimes stops for pointless mid-flow, and that i always have to achieve that annoying scribble-in-the-corner-of-the-paper thing before I'm able to utilize it. I have none of those problems with my Lamys, and that i could buy about 200 Lamys for the price of one Montblanc.
